Rome has a very special place in the hearts of millions. Not only is it known for food, culture, and romance. It is also has a bustling city full of both tourist and natives who want to enjoy everything the city has to offer.
In our recent trip to Rome we stayed at a quaint apartment called “Holiday in Rome.” Holiday in Rome is situated in one of the most central areas of Rome, close to St. Peter’s and a hair’s breadth away from the Vatican Museums.
A two bed two bath apartment located in a quite neighborhood full of locals. The owner- a native Roman, Giulia made our stay not only comfortable, but also relaxing and helped us every step of the way with any needs we had.
Master bedroom had its own bathroom and was presented in and open and welcoming manner. Trip Advisor has a certificate of excellence on the listing.
Plenty of accommodations in the bathroom for however long you plan to stay. The washer is around the corner. The natural light coming through the bathroom window makes for beautiful mornings. The location is ideally located near the Cipro underground station (only 12 minutes to reach the centre) and next to many of the main bus routes.
Fully functional kitchen with plenty of silverware. We were even welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine! Just what you need after long hours of traveling. There is a local market that is around the corner, walking distance is about four minutes. Here you can restock the fridge with all of your needs.
The open floor plan of the living room made for easy living and relaxing nights. The terrace sits in the morning sun and can be used for both romantic dinners and amazing morning breakfasts.
No better way to get your day of adventure started then breakfast in the sun. We would highly recommend this place as a stop over for your travels in Rome. It is located about a 10 minute walk from the Vatican. Our host provided us with a map of the city and suggestions for local cuisine based on our preferences. When you look on trip advisor there are literally 1000’s of places to stay and it can be difficult sorting them out.
This is one place I can truly say was as advertised and even better. You will truly feel like you are on a “holiday in Rome” with this place.
